William Duncan State School has a proud history of sporting excellence, participating in a wide range of sports and competitions.
Students are allocated into house groups at the start of their school life and intra-school cross-country, touch football and athletics carnivals are contested fiercely between the rival house groups.
Students can also participate in inter-school sports in both winter and summer competitions. Sports offered include Rugby League, Soccer, Netball, Touch and Basketball. Students are also offered a Homesport option where they stay at school and participate in a variety of sports.
